City Code of Ordinances
A short-term rental is defined in the City of Arvada Land Development Code as a dwelling, portion of a dwelling, or accessory dwelling unit (ADU) rented to transient guests for less than 30 consecutive days.One owner may run up to three short-term rental properties in the city. However, each property is allowed one reservation at a time. The maximum number of days a short-term rental may be occupied in a given year is 240. A Short Term Rental Log confirming the number of days a rental was occupied must be given to the City at the end of each year.
The property owner or a long-term tenant may run a short-term rental. To run a short-term rental, if you aren't the owner, you must present written permission from the owner.
