City Code of Ordinances

North Myrtle Beach allows the use of short-term rentals. Short-term rental means a room or unit rented for less than thirty (30) days. See Sec. 11-3. - Housing units used for short-term rental regulation

Business License Requirements

Short-term rentals need a business license application.

Building and Housing Standards

North Myrtle Beach has rules and regulations that specify minimum building, design, maintenance standards, habitability, health, and safety requirements. Short-term rentals might also be subjected to the city, state, and county sales tax and are liable for payment as established by the city, state and county law
