City Code of Ordinances

Presently, short-term rentals are not permitted in districts not zoned for retail uses.  Akron is considering enacting some regulations to cover this, but right now, they are treated the same as a hotel/motel within the City of Akron.    Do your due diligence and consult a local lawyer or tax professional. Ordinances and Zoning are subject to change. Contact the City of Akron for more details.
