City Code of Ordinances
Short-term rentals in a residential zoning district proposed to operate as a transient occupancy (hotel/motel) are not an allowable use. Town Code defines rentals of 30 days or less as transient occupancy; therefore, this use is not permitted in residential zoning districts. Consequently, we do not issue permits for short-term rentals. Code of Ordinances | Jupiter, FL | Municode Library Also, the Town Code does not contain any other specific regulations on short-term rentals; however, if the opportunity avails, I would expect the Town would consider adopting additional regulations.Do your due diligence and consult a local lawyer or tax professional. Ordinances and Zoning are subject to changes and should always be confirmed with the Town of Jupiter.
