City Code of Ordinances

Short-term rentals are permitted in Joliet. There are no minimum night requirements.

Business License Requirements

Short-term rentals require a Rental Registration Certificate. You could rent out the whole house or a room.  Occupancy limitations are set by the City's 2015 International Property Maintenance Code.
