Rancho Cucamonga Short-Term Rental Regulations

City Code of Ordinances

Rancho Cucamonga defines a short-term rental as when a resident leases a room, a section of their house, or a permitted guest house for a duration of fewer than 30 days in exchange for money or another form of payment. Rancho Cucamonga allows short-term rentals of rooms and entire homes and allows guest houses for stays shorter than 30 days, provided they adhere to Section 8.34 of the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Code (RCMC) 's operating regulations.

Building and Housing Standards

The City of Pomona has rules and regulations that specify minimum building, design, maintenance standards, habitability, health, and safety requirements. Tourist and Local Taxes

Each renter is responsible for paying a Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) tax that shall be calculated at a rate of 10% and remitted to the City monthly by the host or hosting platform.
