City Code of Ordinances

In the City of Garden Grove, short-term vacation rentals are prohibited in residential areas. Permitted uses in residential zones are outlined in the City of Garden Grove Land Use Code. It is a "permissive" zoning law, meaning any use that is not expressly included in the code is forbidden. Hotels and motels are commercial uses that can only be conducted with a conditional use permit in commercial zones.
